Fresh start for DataMuster in 2021

As we all know 2020 has been a difficult year, so the team at DataMuster has decided to make some changes to the way we do things to make a fresh start in 2021.

Firstly, we know we need to do better at communicating with you and our producer and industry network. So we are very pleased to welcome Hannah Jasperson (nee Kennedy) to the role of Research Extension Officer with the Precision Livestock Management team at CQUniversity.

Hannah will be solely focused on connecting DataMuster with more producers and their herds. She will be regularly sharing information via the DataMuster newsletter, website and social media channels, and working with producers in setting up walk-over-weigh hardware on farm and improving the performance of DataMuster based on your feedback.

Hannah has been based in Rockhampton for 7 years, starting with Elders locally as a sales representative and more recently working with Beachport Liquid Minerals as Regional Manager for Central & Southern QLD. Hannah grew up on a property at Richmond in QLD and has worked in the rural industry throughout her career.

Secondly, while we may have been quiet publicly, behind the scenes our research and development team has been incredibly busy this year. They have added several new features to the DataMuster platform to improve the quality and quantity of information presented to users for making more informed and timely herd management decisions.

Hannah and the DataMuster team will share with you more detailed information on these new developments in the new year.

In the meantime, if you are as excited as we are about the year ahead and you’re keen to take things up a notch with cutting edge technology, you can contact Hannah on mobile 0427 716 721 or email h.jasperson@cqu.edu.au.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very wet and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We look forward to working with you in 2021!
